Hi there! I’m Jennifer, and ever since I was a little girl I’ve always wanted to live on a ranch and raise horses. My mom and I moved to our little ranch here in Blum, Texas, in August of 2022, and we are living a dream come true!

Hopefully, you’ll find something to laugh at with us, as this city girl with a desk job and her mother tackle the wild grass, insects, critters, and hackberry trees standing between us and a self-sufficient homestead-slash-horse training facility-slash-polo practice-slash-serenity retreat kind of place.

Do you breed dragons? No, but I do breed horses. Why is it called Blue Dragon Hollow? It’s like Green Acres but Blue and with Dragons. Dragons are cool. In Chinese mythology, the blue dragon symbolizes the approach of Spring, new life, and plant growth. Also, my mom has studied a form of Tai Chi named after dragons for most of her life.

Some day, there will be a fruit orchard, a berry patch, a polo arena, a glamping site or 2, a tiny home stay place, a market garden, an apiary, a riding track, some lovely paddocks with healthy grazing, a cow, goats, pea fowl, guineas, chickens, ducks, alpaca, donkeys, rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs and cats and, of course, the horses.
